How do I obtain a removal quotation?

We provide free, no-obligation quotes tailored to your specific needs. Our team will assess factors such as property size, volume of belongings, and distance to provide an accurate estimate. For a fixed priced removal quotation we may require a free home survey to be carried out at your property.

When should I book in a removal?

It's best to book your removal with Move2 Removals as soon as you know your moving date. We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance for larger jobs to secure the required resources. 

Do you provide packing materials?

Yes, Move2 Removals provides packing materials such as boxes, tape, and packaging paper. These materials are available at an additional cost and can be delivered to your location for your convenience.

Do you provide storage services?

Yes, Move2 Removals offers storage services for both temporary and long-term needs. 

Are you insured?

Absolutely, Move2 Removals is fully insured with Public Liability, employers Liability and Goods in Transit Insurance. Your belongings are covered during transit for added peace of mind.

Do you disassemble/reassemble my furniture?

Yes, our experienced team at Move2 Removals can handle the disassembly and reassembly of your furniture as needed. Just let us know your requirements in advance.

Will my belongings be protected during transit?

Move2 Removals takes great care to ensure the protection of your belongings during transit. We use specialist covers and moving blankets to safeguard your items and ensure your items are secured with strong straps and ties throughout the journey.

Can I help with the lifting?

We appreciate the offer, but at Move2 Removals, our experienced and fully trained staff are equipped to handle all heavy lifting, allowing you to relax and focus on other aspects of your move.

When will you arrive on the morning of my move?

Our approximate arrival time for morning moves is between 0830 and 0900. However, we'll provide you with specific details and updates closer to your moving date depending on your requirements.

Do you require a deposit?

No, Move2 do not require a deposit for any removals within Scotland. If moving further afield we do require a 50% deposit of your removal and transport costs.

Do you carry out moves over the weekend?

Yes, Move2 Removals operates 7 days a week to accommodate your moving needs, including weekends. There is a surcharge for moves that are carried out on Sundays.

Can you dispose of items?

Yes, Move2 Removals can dispose of unwanted or bulky items for you. However, there may be an additional charge for this service.

Do you offer part loads?

Yes, Move2 Removals offers part load services, where your belongings share space in the removal van with items from other customers. This can be a cost-effective option for smaller moves. Please contact us to ask if we have any corresponding moves to offer part/back loads.

What happens if I need to reschedule my removal?
